Some news: I've joined EQUS to lead digital credentials, after four and a half fantastic years at cheqd π
We've been in stealth. Today we're open-sourcing our first public product: the EQUS Credentials SDK, an Apache 2.0 Rust core for issuing, holding and verifying credentials
Key management and storage are pluggable π
You bring your own KMS and vault by implementing two interfaces. The SDK never holds your keys.
This is the engine for everything we build on top. More soon on where EQUS is heading across the US and EU, with eIDAS 2.0, AMLR and SCA as priorities.
Built as a love letter to the standards work that got us here. Open to use, break and contribute to.

I'm pleased to see we announced our selection for the @jpmorgan Fintech Forward Program.
There might be another equally powerful selection process in the coming weeks(all being well).
This is marketing. This is what makes a difference. This is what builds adoption.

π‘Trust Registries are *crucial* for AI Agents to operate autonomously, ensuring they comply with context-specific permissions and governance.
We call the intersection between AI Agents and decentralized trust architecture:
Verifiable AI = #vAI
Our demo shows how a Claude LLM from @AnthropicAI can run our #MCP server, and can:
- Setup a DID on @cheqd_io
- Import and verify a credential
- Validate the trust chain to the Root of Trust
- Explain and illustrate why it is a trusted AI Agent
