X ALGORITHM, STRAIGHT FROM THE CODE 🚨 We read X's open source ranking code so you don't have to. These are the actual default weights, not guesses from growth threads. tl;dr: - Like = 0.66 - Repost = 1 - Reply = 5 - Quote = 5 - Reply from a mutual follow on your original post = 20 (about 30 likes) - Copy link share = 20 (about 30 likes) - DM share = 5 - Follow from the post = 4 - Time spent after tapping in = about 0.4 per second - Bookmarks = 0 - Profile clicks = 0 - Report = minus 234 (wipes out about 354 likes) - Mute = minus 58.8 - Not interested = minus 52.3 What this means for you: - Write posts people want to send to a friend, not just like - Talk with people you mutually follow, their replies count 4x - Under 50K followers? Your post gets a boost in its first 2 hours, so stay online and reply - Space your posts out, your 2nd post in someone's feed counts 62%, the 3rd 44% - Posts drop out of For You after 48 hours - Replies don't reach non-followers through For You, original posts do - No Premium boost, no link penalty, no hashtag penalty found in the ranking code - Skip rage bait, one report costs more than hundreds of likes Bookmark this and send it to the friend who keeps chasing bookmarks.

If you run a brand account on X, here's the exact setup we are using . Steal it. 1. Daily post drafts (weekdays, 8am) - It reads our recent posts, checks what our niche is talking about, and drafts 2 to 3 posts. - We edit and schedule. It never posts on its own. 2. Reply radar (weekdays, 8:30am) - It finds 3 to 5 conversations where our product genuinely helps, with a suggested reply for each. - Rule: lead with value, mention the product only when it truly fits, skip anything that feels pushy. 3. Mentions and feedback (daily) - New mentions get sorted into bugs, feature requests, praise and questions. - It remembers what it already showed us, so nothing repeats. - No new mentions means no message. 4. Weekly review (Mondays) - It ranks last week's posts by engagement, explains the best and worst in plain words, and ends with 3 things to do this week. - Rule: never make up a number. What makes it work: 1. Drafts only. A human presses post. 2. Space the runs out so the digests don't pile up. 3. Give it your voice rules, like "no em dashes." 4. Keep quiet days silent. Noise kills the habit. 5. We'll share what it found after the first week. (And if you bookmark this like the 700+ people who saved the original, Tweetsmash is how you'll actually find it again.)
If you manage a brand account on X, this is literally a cheat code. Here's what to do with this update... create 3 bots: 1) 24/7 Community Manager - Scan X daily (or more frequently) for mentions of your brand. Surface tweets worth amplifying, highlight product feedback (or stuff worth flagging internally), share team posts that are trending (or performing abnormally well). I also got mine doing a daily digest, notifying me when there's an urgent alert (like a trending tweet/crisis, monitoring our launches, and doing ongoing sentiment reports. 2) X Content Strategist - Read every single tweet your brand has done. Analyze all of the engagement, replies, bookmarks, etc and recommend content buckets, ideas, memes, etc. based on top performing posts. Also worth analyzing content from the founders/team. Bonus: Have the bot build out a voice/tone skill that could be used for future content sparring. 3) X Analyst - Analyze all of the engagements and replies on your past 30/60/90 days of brand content. Tell me which accounts jump out. Any influential people? Industry leaders? Creators? etc. Then share these with the team - provides good signal.

Opus 5.5 + TweetsMash = 🔥. Opus made this product video on a real product loop: lost X bookmark → library → sync → search End line: Your X bookmarks, finally useful. How it was made: - HTML pages as frames - Real bookmarks pulled from the API - Headless Chrome capture - ffmpeg stitch - Python music track - 8 renders after taste feedback 39 seconds. One core loop. Opus is strong at launch video when the brief is cruel: one job, real UI, hard rules. Steal-this prompt in the reply. tweetsmash.com

I've been following @pbteja1998 recently. Not just for the metrics, but for his crazy "Agent of Agents" workflows with @openclaw. I wanted to implement his exact stack (Health dashboard, memory visualization, auto-triage). But manual notes? Too slow. So I dogfooded @TweetsmashApp to do the heavy lifting. The Workflow: 1️⃣ Connect: I connected the @TweetsmashApp API to my AI agent (@openclaw) to read my X bookmarks programmatically. 2️⃣ Fetch: Asked my agent: "Read all my bookmarks from @pbteja1998 and analyze his agent patterns." 3️⃣ Extract: It pulled his specific tweets about WHOOP, Supermemory, and Telegram alerts. 4️⃣ Action: It automatically created a "Rams OS" Notion page with a prioritized task list for me to build. This simple workflow changed everything for me. I used to feel left behind watching others ship agent setups. Now? I pipe all @openclaw updates to my bot it stays current and creates tasks for anything I miss. Note: TweetsMash has a Developer API, so you can use your X bookmarks with @openclaw too.

Writing monthly report about AI is such a hard job, few understand, and with few I mean @yb_effect @dair_ai @rohanpaul_ai lol. Here's how the sausage 🌭 is made. 1. During the month bookmark any tweet, blog post, or interesting content you cross. 2. Extract all those bookmarks, first used to do it manually, now I use a mix of @getdewey and @TweetsMashApp. 3. Use multiple AI tools and manual work to add category to each content, score it, and write summary 4. At the end of this process you have a CSV like this: docs.google.com/spreadsheets… 5. Write a blog post from the top content and publish it ahead of the AI dinner event (lu.ma/ainy). ... Bonus, there are at least 30 new updates on the day before the event, so update the blog post few hours ahead. I'm going to automate this shit. Who else need a tool like this?
