My dad had me believing sand weasels were real until I was like 20 years old just so that we wouldn’t dilly dally carrying shit back from the beach.

Something is seriously broken with job applications right now
I went through 200+ applicant resumes the other day which all stated the candidate had worked on “Core Web3 Wallet Infrastructure” at companies like LinkedIn, Facebook, Amazon, etc.
Clearly these are fake profiles trying to bypass our ATS to land an interview
If I’m seeing this many on one role, I have to imagine other companies are being inundated with these fraudulent candidates as well
All the more reason if you’re seeking a job to work warm connections and stop spamming applications
If you are interested in companies where you don’t have contacts, focus on 20-30 max where you feel like you’re a strong fit and understand exactly what they are trying to solve
Then “do the job you want” and describe what you learned in a DM to a relevant hiring manager, recruiter or team member, as your application
If you want a job, do what other candidates won’t
