I’ve watched Park Sung-soo live twice in pre-season, and honestly, I think this kid is electric. ⚡️
He offers something down that left-hand side that Newcastle currently lack. He’s progressive, forward-thinking, direct, and has the ability to take a man on and make things happen.
I just hope Matthias Jaissle sees what I see in this lad. There’s serious potential there, and I’d love to see him given the opportunity to show what he can do. ⚫⚪

Matthias Jaissle sat in the stands alongside Ross Wilson to watch Newcastle’s U21s. 👀
Would you ever have seen Eddie Howe doing that, looking for the next talent to bring through the youth system? Not a chance.
Jaissle is thinking beyond the next first-team game. He’s looking at the future of Newcastle United, identifying young talent and building a pathway from the academy to the first team.
Forward thinking. Building for the future. ⚫⚪ #NUFC
Time is required for this young man, I trust in time we will see a real player 🫡
🇩🇪 🗣️ Matthias Jaissle on Aladji Bamba:
"He's progressing. In the midfield, we have such high competition. We see progress."
"He was not aware of the physicality of the Premier League but he's getting there now. That's a good sign because he's working hard in training."

I have to give Lukas Horníček MASSIVE credit today. I thought he was phenomenal. 🧤👏
The difference between what we saw from Nick Pope last season and Horníček this season is night and day. The composure, the saves, the confidence he brings.
What a difference he’s making. ⚫⚪ #NUFC

A much needed "buck your ideas up" message from Jaissle to Thiaw and Botman.
Both have been shockingly bad at times this season and if we're honest, they don't seem to make a good partnership.
They forced his hand.

Why I don’t believe Joelinton should be playing in central midfield for Newcastle. The clumsy touches, the loss of possession and the pressure it puts on those around him.

One of the key problems with Manchester United.
Do you think Alex Ferguson would’ve let Bruno Fernandes make comments like he did and stay at the club?
Fuck him off weasel……
On the plus side, nice to see them concede three again 🤣👏
So pleased for Matthias Jaissle to get this victory. Hopefully, it builds confidence, takes the pressure off and gives the players belief in the way we want to play football.
Huge credit to the centre-back pairing of Schär and Dan Burn, allowing Nico González to play higher up the pitch and influence the game.
A definite improvement in the second half compared to last week. Still plenty to work on, but hopefully this is the start of something.
Onward and upward. Howay the lads ⚫⚪ #NUFC
