What happens during a State Takeover,
is 100% on Greg Abbott's shoulders.
Misuse of Funds. Risks to Student Safety.
Anti-Semitism in Texas' largest School District.
It is all on the shoulders of Greg Abbott
(who appointed & oversees Morath & Miles).
A #HISD student is now in police custody
after bringing a gun to Hogg Middle School
in the historic Greater Heights area.
Houston ISD's uncertified superintendent Mike Miles (appointed via a State Takeover) has not made himself available to the press to comment directly.
Student in custody after gun discovered at Hogg Middle School, Houston ISD says abc13.com/story/student-cust…
It's unknown if Mike Miles is in Houston this week, or if he's currently running Texas' largest school district (assigned to him via Greg Abbott's state-takeover) remotely today from Colorado where his Charter School Network is based (which has been receiving Texas contracts to expand his Charter Network).

As governor, I will save Texas public schools by wiping clean corrupt vendor contracts to make Texas teachers amongst the highest paid in the nation.

who is this ignorant Black pastor in this video? Did he tells those same Black and Hispanic young men - I think these dudes are AI - that @GregAbbott_TX ended the HUB program to help them gain state contracts? Greg Abbott has been abysmal for Black Texans. Cast your ballot for @GinaHinojosaTX to be the next governor of Texas!
.@GregAbbott_TX is out with a new broadcast ad that's the first bio piece I've seen in this general election from the gov, and it's also aimed at black and hispanic men. #txlege

Because a Texas public school district is a government (state) employer, employees do not lose their First Amendment rights simply by working for the public.

A vote for Gina Hinojosa
is a vote to end this harmful
state takeover of HISD.
"Firing the two Mikes won’t fix everything that ails our public schools. But it'll help."
