So many emotions today. It’s difficult to find the words for the heaviness. We say often that this state is a small town and it feels especially true right now. I’m simultaneously heartbroken for Maine and immensely proud to call it home.
Local anchors/reporters here in Maine are doing an incredible job amid the chaos & heartbreak of tonight’s mass shootings.

Hey @sacomaine — I know it’s the weekend but not great to see whole stretches of Rt. 1 sidewalk (like this one by a bus stop downtown) untouched since yesterday’s storm.
Love watching the flakes fall on a Saturday morning. Have been fascinated by weather since I was little — a good snowstorm will always be my favorite.
Sickening. And truly hits home for anyone who is or has been a field reporter/photographer. My heart hurts for their loved ones & colleagues.

Today’s project was homemade pretzels. And, as any Office fan knows, pretzel day is a good day. Happy to report it was a success!
It’s become a tradition to see how long the Christmas-turned-winter tree (which is real) stays up every year.
She’s coming down in the next day or two, but it was a record year!
The answer in many cases is no, including here in southern Maine. TV folks (both on and off camera) are grossly underpaid. It’s why so many of us leave — while parent companies make millions, if not billions, annually.
