Here's an example of why people have lost faith in government, the City of Cambridge can't even be bothered to remove garbage at city parks. This is the garbage can next to a kids playground at Optimist Park in Hespeler. @ROWPublicHealth is this not a public health concern?

Maybe Bessent should take a deep look at what Trump's done to the U.S armed forces in the Iran war. Massively depleted munitions, dozens of soldiers severely injured or killed, low morale, oh & still unable to reopen the Strait of Hormuz that was open before they started bombing.

Canada had a great military. They were right there at the forefront on the beaches of D-Day, and what the Canadian government has done to the Canadian Armed Forces — if you look at the ranks of NATO spending, they are near the very bottom, like, they are cellar dwellers, along with Spain, in terms of their military spending to GDP.
Why is that? Because they were free riding.
America is no longer a serious nation, 40 trillion dollars in debt, thousands of veterans are homeless living on the streets while the next generation of military fighters are bombing girls schools in the Middle East & the big concern of the President is renaming a body of water.
Also Trump, since it's such a big priority, there are 9 places named Ontario in 8 states, so you better get that pen out & start changing: Ontario California,Ontario Illinois,Ontario Indiana,Ontario Iowa, 2 Ontario New Yorks,Ontario Ohio,Ontario, Oregon & Ontario Wisconsin.
The same people who are losing their minds over Trump renaming Lake Ontario had no problem changing the name of Yonge-Dundas Square to a name most of us can't even pronounce.
In case anyone wants to know PM Stephen Harper proposed an Energy East pipeline that would have given Canada energy independence, lessened our reliance on the USA & a powerful way to market our energy to many markets...but Canadians chose Trudeau & the libs killed the project.
In Sweden nearly half of its non-recycled waste is incinerated to generate electricity and heat. Other countries in Europe, such as Denmark, Germany, and Finland, also utilize waste-to-energy plants for power generation. Why are we not doing that here?
