Nothing malicious about it. Aren't you the BN who vetoed every single difficulty on Wing my Way and said that sharp jumps should not be allowed on that song? People as narrow-minded and restrictive as you should be removed from the BNG.
NAT just want comfy maps gone from ranked. They view these maps as low quality depsite being loved by the community. Dont be surprised when ranked is boring af and sucks shit for new players more than it already does.
The one notable part of the esse cara chat besides the usual sophistry was vetoers providing changes that are out of scope (happened with montagem as well). Vetoes have a stated reason; any concern that is outside of that reason must be dealt with in a separate veto.
In this case, esse cara was vetoed for patterning ("vertical jump spam"), but vetoers were persistent in pushing spacing changes. In the case of montagem, vetoers pushed for patterning changes on many diffs that were only included in the spacing reason of the veto.
If you fly a plane, people die. If the community partially dictates what maps get ranked, they get to play a video game they enjoy. Your analogy is shit and you are a part of the pseudointellectual elites who will kill the game.
I didn't even get a chance to look at my (second) veto before the discussion was deleted and sent to mediation. Saw the first bit then have no clue what happened and didn't even say anything myself. Ig vetoes arent just private to the community, but to the mapper as well.
