Massachusetts taxed the rich. Now they have an extra $1.5 billion to spend.
In November, 2022 voters approved a 4% tax on incomes over $1 million.
The state can now use that money on free public school meals, free community college, and public transit.

Good question. We're on the same side when it comes to dense, mixed use planning. Hope the formula works for Tysons, but it's still a difficult place for pedestrians, bikes & families. And local streetside businesses keep closing due to lack of pedestrians.
