The @ACLU of San Diego and Imperial Counties and the Coalition for Police Accountability and Transparency are asking for medical/public health folks to sign a support letter they created for PrOTECT: forms.gle/93bxyFcQSEFx5u137
PrOTECT is an ordinance that will ban pretext stops and consent searches in the City of San Diego.
This ordinance, with the goal to stop unfair profiling of individuals, is expected to be introduced to the Mayor and City Council this year.
