We have acquired a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick from the @Seahawks in exchange for Quenton Nelson.

Trade Grover Stewart and let Tim Smith hold down the NT position

Re-sign Josh Downs. Don鈥檛 trade him

If you get a 2nd round offer for Taylor you trade him. Let McGowan and Giddens rush for the rest of the year

You trade away Buckner because he deserves to be playing in a winning team. Plus you let Adebawore play more snaps and re-sign him now

Here鈥檚 my thoughts on the Nelson trade: You make this trade for a couple of reasons: - avoid paying a big extension to a vet in a rebuild - do Nelson a favour sending him to a winner - Goncalves is playing at a pro bowl level - they like what they see in Farmer

Would I have made this trade? No. Re-sign him, franchise tag him. Do whatever it takes to keep him and let him protect for the next young QB. Players like Quenton Nelson don鈥檛 just come round all the time. He鈥檚 a franchise cornerstone, future ROH and future HoF player
