Great poster session @UKOTCF where researchers and conservationists shared their work in rapid 5 minute intros and Q&A; so much fantastic work so many important conservation stories backed up by science.
Day 2 @UKOTCF conf 2025. We heard about spider taxonomy & invert mapping on St Helena, re-wilding & landscape restoration in Turks&Caicos and IoM, biosecurity on Guernsey, importance of data (including Earth Obvs) and a story of Hope; a whale being studied in South Georgia.
Day 1 @UKOTCF conference presentations included a look at some of the work to digitalise herbarium on Montserrat, building networks for meaningful action on plastics and our 3rd Richard and Dace Ground lecture by Myles Darrell of the Bermuda NT on intergenerational voltunteering
Day 1 @UKOTCF conference 2025; environmental education in Gibraltar's botanic garden, community representation in Turks and Caicos and Montserrat. We learned that a sea turtle tagged in Chagos travelled 5000 miles!

Another guided walk in fabulous conditions 😂, this time for delegates at the Inter-island Environment Meeting #IIEM25 . We saw nothing of the surrounding hills 💚 but saw enough #peatland restoration, interesting fungi, mist and #sphagnum moss to keep everyone happy 💦🌿
