Tonight, The King and Queen will host a State Banquet for the Sultan of Oman at Windsor Castle.
☕️ Inspired by the Omani ritual of Kahwa, a collection of special teas will be served.
While Kahwa is traditionally a spiced coffee, the concept has been adapted to draw on the long-standing British love of tea while preserving the aromatic spices and flavours that make Kahwa so distinctive: fragrant cardamom, delicate rose, sweet dates, and gentle warming spices.
Guests will be invited to choose from an Iced Earl Grey & Date, an Iced Mint & Rose, or a Warm Cardamom-Spiced Blend sweetened with Windsor Honey.
Together, they reflect the warmth and hospitality shared by both Omani and British traditions. 🇬🇧🇴🇲

Remembering all those affected by the tragic events of 9/11, 25 years ago today.
A commemorative Guard Change took place on the forecourt of Buckingham Palace this morning, during which The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester took the Royal Salute on behalf of The King.
The ceremony included performances of both US and UK National Anthems, Hymn to the Fallen and Amazing Grace.
Earlier this year, Their Majesties paid their respects at the 9/11 Memorial in New York, as part of the State Visit to the United States.

Live’.
‘Letters Live’ is a live celebration of the enduring power of literary correspondence. Each show always features a completely different array of great performers, reading remarkable letters written over the centuries and from around the world. Audiences attending Letters Live never know who is going to take to the stage or what letter they are going to bring alive.
Her Majesty participated in tonight’s show alongside other cast members including Jessie Buckley, Simon Callow, Olivia Colman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dame Harriet Walter, Rob Rinder, Sara Pascoe, and more.
Tonight’s show will raise money for @Literacy_Trust, of which Her Majesty is Patron.
