Amb. Yıldız reaffirmed 🇹🇷’s strong support, as host country, for the @UNTechBank for LDCs at the 2nd Committee of UNGA 🇺🇳, highlighting the Bank's unique role in strengthening STI capacities in LDCs and calling for broader international support.
As we continue the fight against the #climatecrisis, ensuring #LDCs can participate meaningfully in the green transition is both an economic & developmental imperative.
This high-level dialogue during #UNGA81 will serve as the pre-launch of the Least Developed Countries Green Industrialization Facility (LDC-GIF); an innovative initiative that will be officially launched at COP31 in Türkiye.
The Facility aims to catalyse partnerships, mobilise support, and unlock opportunities for green industrialization and technology transfer in LDCs.
