Grad workers at Northwestern University, members of UE Local 1122, have ratified their 1st UE contract! The contract includes a $45,000 minimum stipend by September — a 22% raise. Dental & vision premiums will be covered and there are now limits on mandatory working hours. (1/3)

The minimum wage increase doesn't apply to UMD student or contract workers. Thousands of workers are still criminally underpaid. But this win shows the power of organizing. We'll keep fighting for $15/hr for ALL campus workers - we deserve nothing less!
