Here's the real history of the @ussoccer crest.
@FOXSoccer @USMNT @USWNT @ussoccer_comms
After countless hours of research & recreation of some of these crests that never existed digitally, here is what I have found to date. As I uncover more I will share w/ #USMNT #USWNT fans
Which #USMNT players would you like to see included in this roster, and who would you leave off? Who deserves a spot, and who doesn't?
The #USMNT can't sleep on Haiti in these two #NationsLeague matches even though they have a current 10 match unbeaten streak against going back to 1976.
Here's my projected #USMNT roster for the November Concacaf #NationsLeague window. I've included a fourth goalkeeper, although only three will be eligible for the #CNL matches.

New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner sends a message to supporters ahead of Sundayโs regular-season home finale against Inter Miami CF:
โYour support has been great all season. I think the Wednesday night was probably our lowest attendance of the entire season, which was a little disappointing given the form that weโre currently in.โ
Turner emphasized the importance of fan support as New England prepares for the postseason.
โAs we look forward to the future, weโre going to need every single fan to come out and to support us.โ
โWeโre going to continue to put our best foot forward and hopefully continue to make you guys and all the fans proud of what we are as a team, the product we put out, our togetherness, and how we represent the region.โ

Having five #USMNT goalkeepers on this list, four of whom have served as the national team's primary starter at some point, reinforces why we need more American goalkeepers competing and starting at the highest levels of the game.
Gregg Berhalter did some of the best "recruitment" of dual-nationals those #USMNT players seem to love playing for the US & have contributed.
Recruiting dual nationals is a complicated process. For players, they are emotional decisions tied into national and cultural identity.
For one potential #USMNT dual-nat, it could be even bigger. Not every process is as simple as "come play for the U.S."

The #USMNT needs a veteran goalkeeper presence in camp, & my hands-down choice is Matt Turner. He has experienced more at the international level than any other active USMNT goalkeeper & would be an invaluable mentor for the next generation of keepers coming through the program.
I'm not sure this necessarily strengthens the US Soccer U23 pathway, as the road to the professional level for future #USMNT players likely still won't run through Division I college soccer. That said, I'm all for expanding the college game and having soccer played year-round.
CCV needs a move to see if he can't preform at a higher level, but the Premier League isn't ideal for him. I would recommend the German league. #USMNT
๐จ๐บ๐ธ Cameron Carter-Vickers could be on the move to the Premier League!
The 28-year-old USMNT defender, who has been the subject of frequent Premier League interest, is now open to a move if another offer arrives.
A move next summer is possible as Celtic have no intention of letting Carter-Vickers leave in January.
๐ Would you like to see CCV back in the Premier League?

MATCH UPDATE: @Concacaf announced it has approved the request of the Haitian Football Federation to move the first leg of our Nations League quarterfinal from Kingston, Jamaica to Nu Stadium in Miami, FL.
The second leg will still take place as scheduled in Cincinnati on 11/17.
Looks to be a change in venue for the #USMNT vs Haiti away match which now appears to be a second home match for the USMNT in the #NationsLeague quarterfinals.
This is a joke FIFA youth tournament that includes 189 youth teams in 32 groups from all 6 confederations.

I love this for so many reasons. Goalkeeping is such a unique position, and integrating GKs from different generations helps build continuity while fostering competition, both of which are essential for the #USMNT, especially given the current gap in top-tier goalkeeping talent within the pool.

This isn't rare for the #USMNT to call in players from clubs that might be on winter break or for clubs to release players who might not be getting club minutes to join these non-FIFA window camps.
๐บ๐ธ๐ Mauricio Pochettino says December camp wonโt just be for MLS players.
โItโs not just about having MLS players available, but also players from different leagues that may be on a break or on vacation.โ๐๏ธ
Here are some names Iโd like to see considered, subject to club release:
๐ฉ๐ฐ Diego Kochen - Lyngby
๐ณ๐ด Gabriel Wesseh - Fredrikstad (18yo winger tearing it up in Norway)
๐ต๐น Jalen Blesa - Rio Ave (11 goals in 22 apperances, dual nat)
๐ฆ๐ท Matko Miljevic - Racing Club (Poch once called him in)
๐ฉ๐ช Bajung Darboe - Bayern Munich II
๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟMatai Akinmboni - FC Dundee (19yo CB, no minutes)
๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ Gaga Slonina - Chelsea (young GK, no minutes)
๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ Rokas Pukลกtas - Middlesbrough (no minutes)
Some would require releases from clubs still in season, but could benefit from the opportunity.
Who else deserves a look?
