NEW: If teams w/5-7 records are needed to fill bowls, the bowl’s conference will choose replacement & choice will not be based on highest APR scores, sources told @On3. If an ESPN bowl is selecting from pool of G6 teams, ESPN chooses the team to fill the vacancy, source said

Just hung up with the committee chair. Good conversation. CPM: why is Notre Dame ranked behind BYU? Chair: they have the same record and we go to head to head result CPM: I notice Alabama is ranked 5 and Tennessee is ranked 13. Chair. They have the same record and we go to head to head result except in this case where we decided to rank the blowout winner 8 spots lower CPM: why is Notre Dame, the number one team in Vegas and all the powet rankings outside your top 10? Chair: they don’t have a win over one of the teams on our top 25 board here CPM: I see Indiana is number 4. I assume they have multiple wins over teams in your top 25. Chair: no they don’t CPM: oh so maybe only one top 25 win? Chair: no, not even one. CPM: thanks!

The issue with the BCS was the access, not the computers. These are FAR BETTER rankings: • UCLA, ND properly ranked • no 2-loss SEC tms in Top 7 (CFP has 2) • Wake, USC up multiple spots It should’ve always been the BCS.
The top four are identical and the same 25 teams made both lists, but there’s plenty of disagreement here! For the first time this season, let's take a look at a side-by-side of our simulated BCS and the @CFBPlayoff committee rankings:

Compared to pretty much every other senior, Marsh's process will — timing and otherwise — be more like what we saw with Josh Yago at ND and (to a lesser extent bc he went to UVA and walked on) Jake Marek.
Interesting addition to the Grad Transfer Portal Tracker: •Navy LSM AJ Marsh With 11G, 11A, 68GB & 30CT in three years, Marsh will exhaust his eligibility with the Mids in ’27 and is looking at 5th-year opportunities in ’28. Link: bit.ly/4A6lyiV

This is a really good thread on how replay is different the past two years and not necessarily better.
Thoughts on Viewer Access to Replay Reviews <Warning: It's very long> From the beginning, I was skeptical of how this could be successfully implemented. In theory, it’s a great way to provide insights into Replay/Command Centers evaluations of often critical and game-impacting situations. My skepticism was always its application in the real world. I think that skepticism has proven itself as we’ve seen in numerous games in multiple conferences. Here’s what I think is happening:

Took a bit to get going but whew buddy this team has the pieces to be really good.
At the half its Navy 47 - Mount St. Mary's 26. The Mids closed the second quarter on a 16-0 run over the final 4:09 to break open the game. Six points from Lizzie Holder led the Mids during that span. Zoe Mesuch with a team-high eight points at the break.
