Chagos Archipelago's citizen are called Chagossian and they are Chritians. Between 1965 and 1973, the British government forcibly removed the Chagossians from their homeland to make way for a U.S. military base on Diego Garcia. Today, they live in diaspora communities in the Seychelles, and the UK, particularly in Crawley and Manchester. A small number are in Canada. Maldives is a 100% muslim community, are they ready to deal with another religion ? @anedhivehirajje simply talking about a land is not enough, what about their cultural beliefs and most of all it's peoples right. we live in a world, we talk about the rights of others than ours more.

Where @anedhivehirajje wasn't competent clearly is the handling of the Baabul Awaalees. MAG has 1st hand knowledge of them extremists in Cairo, and he knew exactly how to deal with it. Moreover, MAG was and is still more of an Islamic Scholar than Salafi/Wahaabee rodents.

we have very lil power in our hand. i think... we are the #Victims for the #NWO . i heard stories of that the last land will fall after decades.
2025–2035 could prove to be one of the most consequential decades in modern world history. As the world shifts from a US-dominated unipolar order towards an increasingly multipolar one, the Maldives, like many other countries, stands at a critical crossroads. We can either ride this wave of change and reshape our nation’s future, or become victims of a changing world order. The decisions we make during this decade will determine not only our place in the emerging world order, but also the future we leave for generations to come.

#EagleHillsOut #Confidential reports claim UAE billionaire Mohamed Alabbar’s Eagle Hills would gain 99-year development rights over ~500 hectares of Maldives’ Ras Malé (nearly half the housing project) with no upfront fee or rent. Critics note no tender or independent valuation, vague $12–20B costs, and only 10% revenue for the government (which must also fund 5,000 homes). Parliament blocked disclosure on 26 Oct 2026. Former VP Mohamed Jameel Ahmed warned sovereignty is not for sale, citing Eagle Hills’ controversial Belgrade Waterfront deal. The core concern is whether reclaimed land for Maldivians becomes a long-term Emirati real-estate project under secret terms. Abu Dhabi's Grip on the Maldives: Mohamed Alabbar and the 99-Year Deal to Control Ras Malé's Land Confidential sources have revealed to Dark Box that the UAE is seeking to expand its economic influence in the Maldives through billionaire Mohamed Alabbar and his company, Eagle Hills. Under the proposed deal, the Abu Dhabi-based developer would secure development rights over approximately 500 hectares, nearly half of the Ras Malé project originally intended to address the country's housing crisis, for 99 years, without an upfront acquisition fee or conventional rent. Suspicions are mounting over the absence of a competitive tender or independent land valuation, alongside conflicting project estimates ranging from $12 billion to $20 billion. The government is expected to receive 10% of project revenue, while the financing costs of 5,000 housing units would be recovered from its share. The lack of transparency deepened on October 26, 2026, when Parliament rejected a proposal to disclose the agreement by 45 votes to 10. Former Maldivian Vice President Mohamed Jameel Ahmed warned against Alabbar's alleged attempts to influence public opinion, declaring that the Maldives' sovereignty and national identity are not for sale. Eagle Hills' controversial involvement in Serbia's Belgrade Waterfront project has further intensified concerns about exceptional privileges and long-term concessions benefiting the developer. At the heart of the controversy lies a fundamental question: Will land reclaimed to house Maldivian citizens be transformed into a lucrative Emirati real estate empire generating profits for decades, while the decisive terms of the agreement remain hidden from public scrutiny? Throughout watching this video I keep thinking about how we still don’t know how much the real reclamation has cost HDC. That loan gotta be atleast 1 billion USD. Minimum projections landed near 700 million. Accounting for depth of lagoon and interest? 1 billion atleast
The Rasmale deal (beginnings) I’ll try to finish the whole thing soon.

Why do we have to pay Male landlords this money! Their rental properties and private business is worth millions! These leeches need to be removed immediately! Haraam faisaa kaigen ulhey baigandey mee.
After MPs’ salaries, the next petition should address former presidents’ allowances and benefits. It’s time to start this debate. Taxpayers have paid so far Maumoon: 72 million Nasheed: 43 million Waheed: 25 million Yameen: 9 million Solih: 10 million Total: 159 million. These payments will continue, and future former presidents will become eligible too. As a nation, we must ask, can we afford this? Are these allowances proportionate to our economic reality, national income and the living standards of ordinary Maldivians? Public money should reflect public priorities.
