President Trump fundamentally transformed the future of finance with the signing of the GENIUS Act last year.
Today, U.S. Treasury’s @USOCC took a critical step toward implementing this historic legislation with the release of a final rule that delivers a federal framework for payment stablecoins that further cements American dominance in digital assets.
.@SecScottBessent highlights how real wage growth is up and how Americans are benefiting under the leadership of @POTUS.

.@SecScottBessent: “Core inflation is down. Food is below the Fed’s targets. Prescription drugs have had the biggest decrease in history. Rents are down. This is an energy shock. We will get to the other side of the Iran conflict, and those prices will come down.”
Today, @SecScottBessent and @SenJonHusted hosted a roundtable at Crown Preparatory Academy in Columbus, Ohio, to discuss the benefits of the Education Freedom Tax Credit for Ohio students and families.
Starting in 2027, federal taxpayers can annually claim a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for contributions to qualifying scholarship-granting organizations: up to $1,700 for individuals and $3,400 for married couples filing jointly.
.@SecScottBessent: "Thirty-eight percent of American households have no exposure to our great equity market. @POTUS wants to create an ownership society with @TrumpAccounts. For eligible children born during his term, Treasury is going to put a $1,000 seed investment in their Trump Account, but then we also have contributions coming from great philanthropists like Susan and Michael Dell—$6.25 billion."
.@SecScottBessent: “@TrumpAccounts is a legacy policy for @POTUS. As children turn 18, they have a choice with their Trump Accounts. They can roll them into a more standard retirement account, let that money roll until they're 60 or 65, or they can take the money out and use it for education, to start a business, or a down payment on a house."

.@SecScottBessent: “The reason we had this crippling inflation under the Democrats was they created a demand shock, but then the regulatory state constricted supply. What President Trump has done is create a private-sector demand shock with tax policy, energy policy, and trade policy—but we have cut regulation. For every new regulation, we have cut 120. So we have created supply.”
