David Feinberg of NAPEO member @Justworks recently participated in the @USChamber’s Small Business Forum in DC, where he spoke with the Chamber’s Neil Bradley.
The event highlighted the importance of small businesses to the American economy, a theme also reflected in the latest Justworks and U.S. Chamber of Commerce Small Business Index.
The Index rose to 70.5 in Q3 2026, up from 66.5 in the previous quarter and approaching its record high of 72.0. The findings point to growing confidence among small business owners: 71% say their business is in good health, 62% expect revenue growth and 36% plan to add staff. Inflation remains the top concern, cited by 54% of owners.
