It's hard to pick just one because so much of what I learned from Dr. McConnell in Classroom Interactions has influenced the kind of teacher that I am and aspire to be.

I hope to foster STEM learning environments grounded in curiosity, empathy, and purposeful reflection. I want every learner to feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their potential and pursue their goals. Ultimately, I hope students come to see themselves not simply as learners of STEM, but as people who belong in STEM and have something meaningful to contribute to it.
