Best ways to receive PR? 1. Skeepers: Some of the offers require you to post, but some are just PR. 2. Dont be afraid to ask the brand. If they say yes, definitely share the product on social, even if it’s just a story. 3. Focus on growing your socials. You’ll have brands come to you directly to send you PR.

My favorite strategy to find UGC clients will always be posting. This allows me to practice my creativity and skills everyday while allowing the brands to come to me. If you’re posting and not seeing results, take this as a sign to work on your skills (filming, editing, natural voice, ability to sell, etc.)

Do you need to create separate social accounts for UGC? If your current account’s professional and you’re willing to share ‘brand’ content on that page, then I suggest transitioning it. However, if you feel more comfortable, start a fresh account. BIGGEST tip? Don’t let the opinions of others stop you from making $

The best time to pitch a brand? During a new product launch! Brands allocate significant resources to ensure success, making it the perfect time to offer your support through a content partnership.

How to nurture your relationships with brands (and ultimately make more money. 1. Organically post their products and tag 2. Engage on socials 3. Check-in with them and offer content ideas 4. Ask for refills (specifically if you post the brand often) Authentic interaction will show you’re a true brand supporter and you’ll be top of mind when it comes time to hire creators.

It will NEVER feel like the perfect time, so if you keep putting it off, you’ll never achieve your dream. The best time to start was yesterday.

Avoid this when negotiating: Information overload. Only give the brand 2-3 package options at a time. Avoid laying out tons of pricing, add-ons, ect. Allow the brand to work off of your offer. Lastly, it’s better to shoot for larger packages and allow the brand to come down.

When working with smaller brands, understand that they may not know what they want. Are you able to ask the right questions? Here are some topics I always discuss: paid media, thumbnails, content goals, target audience, top performing content. What are some questions you ask a potential brand partner?

Heck yeah! I also record at least one alternative hook, CTA, or quick B-roll from my unused shots. They rarely say no to at least one of the extras.

Some of y’all are losing money over something so simple. This is your reminder to always upsell when delivering contracted work. At this stage, brands can see the final content, making it much easier to say yes to things like extended paid media, hook iterations, etc.

There is a BIG difference between creating content and monetizing it. One is a hobby, the other is a business. As a businesswoman at heart, I never anticipated becoming a full-time content creator, but here I am, and I’ve never felt more happy, fulfilled, and abundant. If this is your goal, I’m here to answer your questions. I want to see you succeed 🤍
