Senior managers in Leeds are refusing to resolve the dispute with theatre assistants, who are currently on strike.
They perform clinical tasks, but their pay doesn't reflect it - and at a meeting last week, management offered no suggestions on how to find a solution.

UNISON Sheffield Teaching Hospitals have made an incredible donation of £2,500 to support striking theatre assistants at Leeds Teaching Hospitals!
Another warm spirited (if cold weathered) picket line this morning. The striking workers are spooking the Trust this Halloween, the Trust know they must implement fair pay 4 patient care. Terrific support by Sheffield @unisonSTH with a large cheque to our strike fund - thankyou

Theatre assistants working at hospitals in Leeds are paid less than those doing the exact same role in other hospitals in Yorkshire.
Email the chief executive in Leeds and tell him to sort it out.

Striking theatre assistants in Leeds had a productive morning yesterday, handing out leaflets to raise awareness of their campaign to be paid fairly for the clinical tasks they perform in the city's hospitals.
Same again this morning outside the railway station, say hello! 🙌

Theatre assistants in Leeds are still on strike. They're paid at a band 2 rate, but perform band 3 duties.
It's been resolved elsewhere - including at Calderdale and Huddersfield, by the new chief executive of Leeds.
Tell him to sort it at LTH 👉 unsn.uk/emailbrendan
Do you want to support our Band 2/3 campaign - tell Brendon Brown how unfair you feel the current situation is (what has led up over 50 days of strike action)

Going on strike isn't easy. It's a last resort when you feel you've got no other option. Michelle's been telling the picket line at Leeds General Infirmary why this is so important 👏
