AI probably would be best used in the medical research field and maybe a few others, but computers deciding someone's fate is a bit too dystopian.

🦔Delaware wants to let AI agents run companies on their own. Under the draft law, the agent could sign contracts and file lawsuits, and the person who owns the company would carry no responsibility for its harms unless they committed fraud or left it underfunded. Delaware’s Secretary of State has pitched it as a big boost to state revenue. House Oversight Chairman James Comer now wants to see how the plan came together.
My Take
Yeah, so companies already blame AI for layoffs they wanted anyway, and now they’d get to blame it in court too. Say the agent drains a customer’s account. You can sue the company, but you only get whatever money the owner left in it, and the owner gets to tell the judge a machine made the call. I don’t see who this helps besides the owners and Delaware (business fees pay for roughly a quarter of that state’s budget, so of course they’re interested). If it passes in January, I expect a rush of AI startups to file there.

This is my friend who got Elon to have his panties in a wad, because he is brutal with the truth. Elon couldn’t handle it. He suspended his account. My friends, this guy here is not afraid to say it like it is. If you like my tweets, his is better. Follow him. Now. @dude_vs_life

Brother, my account got suspended... Really riled up that pro-genocide crowd, until Elon decided it was too much. Using a back-up account now, but lost my reach and many of my friends.
Always ready to fight the good fight and truly hope we can drink a beer together one day

Kentucky residents played a loud recording of the noise pollution from data centers to show its disruptive impact.
Within seconds, county officials grew irritated and told them to “act like adults” and turn it off.
The corrupt politicians who vote for and push these data centers onto our communities couldn’t handle the piercing sound for a few seconds, yet expect residents to live with it every day.
Welcome to the USA, where politicians prioritize the bottom line of the corporations and billionaires that fund their campaigns over the needs of our people and communities.

Just last month, DoorDash couldn’t seem to find the money to pay their deliveristas — until our administration forced them to give back $131M+ in stolen wages and penalties.
This week, they’ve managed to find $17 billion to acquire one of their main competitors.
Corporate consolidation means higher prices, harsher exploitation, and greater economic inequality for New Yorkers.
We’ve stood up to these giants before. That doesn’t stop now.
