Mass Effect fans have bought a #SaveMassEffect billboard in Times Square after EA shut down BioWare last week, but the fight to save the sci-fi RPG franchise isn't stopping there. bit.ly/3U30SJr

It's not about "realism". It's about solid cohesive creature design. Dinosaurs should at mimimum bare a passing resemblance to what species they're supposed to be. The "genetic abomination" is a poor copout excuse and that's why many Jurassic World dinos got the flak that they do
nanOS | ARK Lore Aficionado@nanoStelOct 25
I'm not sure how I feel about most new dinos losing their signature ARK 'unrealism', artistically. Nearly everything in-game is a genetic approximation-abomination made from whatever the URE & Terran Federation could salvage of the real extinct animals.

Also just following basic anatomy guidelines too helps alot. Things like pronated wrists on dinosaurs should've been left behind a long time ago. I think alot of the new ASA dinos look great and strike that right balance between "fantasy" and "paleo accuracy"

I do have my own reservations about them, moreso things I would've done differently, but hey that's why my friends and I make the dinos we do for Paleo ARK to scratch that itch. Creature design is fun!

This looked so good even for a cinematic trailer. There's no fucking way this can just be tossed out, SOMEONE has to step up and make a deal to continue development

A BioWare dev on reddit leaked a Mass Effect 5 trailer... it's called MASS EFFECT UNIVERSE and it's fucking gorgeous. I'm crying. This is everything I wanted. They were a lot farther than we thought. FUCK EA

He was the first person I ever saw portrayed on TV with the same disability as me, and it wasn’t played as a joke or weakness. I met him, and he gave me a free autograph, asking me about my experiences with cerebral palsy. So kind, and so motivated to help others like him. R.I.P.

$29.99 is now the new deluxe price for Transformers in 2027. Confirmed by Nate at NYCC. 👎 A 76% price increase in 10 years ($16.99 to $29.99).

Now it's known as "the cool dinosaur museum that got shut down by a bunch of greedy asswipes" @DrexelUniv how'd that work out for you?
Tess Gallagher🦕(@tessasaurus.bsky.social)@Tessasaurus_rexOct 2
drexel wants you to think the academy closed because of declining attendance. And yet, they purposefully wanted to push themselves away from being the "dinosaur museum" in philadelphia, and cut programs like the live animal exhibits to appeal to adults......

Halo Megabloks/Megaconstrux line getting basically shitcanned was the worst for me IMO loved those sets. They were a blast to put together and put on a display shelf and the minifigures were so wonderfully articulated 😔

I can't agree that Activision is worse for Halo. Halo is already at rock bottom. The past 15 years has seen: - 3 mainline games that are universally panned - A broken live service with microtransactions and sbmm - 2 broken half remakes of Halo CE - 1 collection of repackaged Halo titles that shipped broken - Mid mobile games - A terrible tv show - The death of halo mega bloks - Declining merch sales - A million books ruining the lore (rip alpha nine) - Lazy narratives and garbage writing - Missing modes and core pieces at launch multiple times - Scrapped splitscreen modes - Total collapse in the popularity of the franchise Halo is cooked. The only way forward is to pass the mantle to someone new.
