The creator Experience:
What it really takes to be a creator
It takes being misunderstood.
People will question your choices long before they understand your vision.
It takes consistency even when nobody is watching.
Most creators don’t fail because they aren’t talented they fail because they stop too early.
It takes being uncomfortable.
Creating means exposing a piece of yourself. That vulnerability is the price of growth.
It takes thick skin and a soft heart at the same time.
Thick skin to survive the noise.
Soft heart to stay creative and human.
It takes patience with results and impatience with excuses.
You can’t control the timing, but you can control the effort.
It takes sacrifice.
Time, sleep, comfort, relationships creating always asks for something.
It takes self belief on days you barely have any.
And discipline on the days belief isn’t enough.

“Other minorities on the left look at the way we’re treated and they see the cost of walking away, and I think that’s part of what paralyzes people and keeps them where they are…
Minorities who #WalkAway are often called ‘self-loathing’—accused of having ‘internalized racism,’ ‘internalized homophobia,’ etc. And often it’s ‘liberal’ people who aren’t minorities calling us those names.”

If you haven’t seen @1776Rewind’s #WalkAway testimonial yet, it’s a MUST SEE!
“President Trump asked for the black vote. He didn’t assume—like Democrats—that he was going to get my vote because I’m black. And he didn’t ignore the black vote.
If you want to SAVE AMERICA, then #WalkAway.”
POWERFUL testimony from @1776Rewind! This is a must listen! 🔥

I was on a panel last night with three other WalkAways, and I cordially disagree with them on quite a bit. I was reminded once more how @RealWalkAway is truly a movement for EVERY AMERICAN. It’s not a right-wing movement, not a Trump organization, not a Republican one. It’s not inherently conservative.
It’s literally just about seeing and rejecting the lies and manipulations of the radical modern-day Democrat Party and legacy media.
We’re truly a home for ALL, and I think that makes us unique from almost every other organization in this sphere.
