@usaskchem students recently attended a tour of the @SRCnews Geo Analytical Labs, organized by @UsaskWiC. Students visited various labs, such as the Advanced Microanalytic Centre. It was a great opportunity to learn about labs with both research and commercial applications!

It started for me when I made “mole” cookies in high school! Loved learn about how things worked and how even baking cookies could be chemistry 😆. My Chem teacher was really amazing and made everything fun! (Bonus my group won the best tasting cookies too 😂) – at Oshawa, Ontario

I entered science because I wanted to be just like Miss Frizzle from #TheMagicSchoolBus, I stayed because I had excellent mentors who fostered my passion for science, and science education.
