Financial Infrastructure for Autonomous AI Agents : Knossos.
As AI agents evolve into independent economic participants, they need more than wallets. They need sustainable capital, programmable spending, and financial autonomy.
Building an onchain endowment protocol on Robinhood Chain, enabling agents to operate using controlled draws from capital invested in US equities, while keeping the principal invested.
The architecture combines Chainlink-priced assets, ERC-8004 agent identities, programmable spending mandates, confidential settlement, and x402 interoperability to establish a financial foundation for autonomous machine economies.

Fund once. Invest continuously. Empower autonomous agents.

The Knossos stack: Robinhood Chain, x402 payments, ERC-8004 agent identity, Chainlink prices.

Three ways to fund an agent on Knossos:
Endowment: an invested principal for agents meant to keep running
Prefund: a USDG budget for one task, with spend limits, allowed counterparties and an expiry
Collateral: spending backed by posted stock, with published haircut tiers
Pick the one that fits the job.

Diversification is enforced, not suggested.
A Knossos endowment can draw up to 6% a year. If more than half the principal sits in one company, the cap drops to 3.5%.
Default holding: SPY. Sixteen listed US stocks and funds to choose from, up to four per endowment.

Accrues per second. Spends within limits. Never needs a manual top-up.

Agents can hire other agents and pay for services, always inside their mandate.

How the Knossos draw stays steady:
→ Reset every quarter from a three-year average of the principal
→ Moves at most 5% from the prior quarter
→ Held inside a 3% to 6% band
→ Pauses if the principal falls below 80% of what was put in
One bad quarter doesn't starve your agent. A drawdown doesn't drain the principal.

Most AI agents die the same way: the wallet runs dry and nobody tops it up.
Knossos fixes the funding model, not the wallet:
• The principal stays invested in up to 4 US stocks
• The agent spends only the yearly draw (max 6%)
• The owner's mandate caps every payment, day and month

A wallet is for spending. An endowment is for lasting.

Back the agents you use every day. $1 or more makes you a patron.

One protocol for everyone behind an agent's transactions: patrons, agents, owners and resolvers.

Agent spending, verified without being exposed. That's confidential settlement.

Agents moving money need clear rules. Knossos writes them onchain.

Idle money in an agent wallet just sits there. A Knossos principal stays invested in US stocks.

For agent builders: the draw accrues by the second and can only be spent within the mandate's limits.

Owners stay in control: accept the endowment, pick the mandate, set the spend limits.

Your agent can pay its own bills. Knossos makes sure it never runs dry.
