Congrats, Brian Santiago on your appointment as BYU’s AD. Something that impressed me about Brian when we worked together was his ability to get a prodigious amount of work done. His work ethic is one of many attributes that will help him lead the cougars to continued success.

Elaine Michaelis was a true pioneer for BYU Athletics. She put her heart and soul into building the women’s athletic program. She was the LaVell Edwards of women’s sports and the classiest of ladies. I loved working with her. RIP, Elaine.

Heed not. Great counsel today and always.

Somewhere LaVell Edwards is smiling. Many people worked hard to make the Big 12 Conference and BYU a reality, but it never would have happened without the foundation built by LaVell. Well done, Coach!

This is why I proudly support Spencer Cox for Governor. Take a few minutes and watch this. It is authentic Spencer. He is the type of leader we need in this decisive time.
Hey friends, with the election just days away I wanted to share my final thoughts on this race and the state I love. I wish it was in person. I know 14 minutes is a lot to ask, but I hope you will listen. This is my closing speech: “One Utah” #VoteCox 💚💛 youtu.be/oEc2aiGO9sE

I texted my wife and said we now have an official “no handshake” rule at the Capitol in order to avoid sickness. She responded with “They should enact a ‘no ass-kissing’ policy at the Capitol. That would be more effective.” #utpol #utleg – at Salt Lake City, UT

Four days riding FrontRunner this week. Fours days of delays. I understand that mechanical things happen, but this is getting tiresome. People will quit taking transit if it is not reliable. #tiredofsittingonstationarytrains

Shirley Johnson was a legend in the BYU football program. Sorry to hear of her passing. It was fun watching her try to keep LaVell and the players in line for many years.
Our dear friend and LaVell’s football secretary Shirley Johnson passed away today. She was a much loved member of the BYU Football Family and assisted thousands of Cougs through the years. Many laughs, a few tears and tons of happy memories. 💙
