Day 1 of 10: The Economy aka Tinubunomics.
I know these years have been hard. Many of us have felt the pain of high prices and tight pockets.
But the sacrifice is paying off: prices are cooling, the naira is stable and investors are returning.
If you feel like challenging anything, focus on the numbers provided, not on Tinubu bought a yatch.

For the next 10 days, I'll be campaigning for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, @officialABAT.
Each day, I'll take one sector, look at what has been done since May 2023, and explain with data why I believe returning Mr President is in the best interest of Nigerians.
I'll be as objective as I can: every figure will carry its source, so you can check it yourself.
The 10 sectors:
1Economy
2Investment & markets
3Oil, gas & refining
4Power
5Infrastructure
6Agriculture & water
7Education
8Health
9Digital & creative
10Security
Day 1 starts tomorrow. Follow along, question the numbers, and join the conversation.

What wonderful news to return home to, and what a proud moment for Nigeria!
As First Lady Oluremi @SenRemiTinubu and I returned from engagements in Akwa Ibom and Rivers States this evening, I saw her keenly watching the Flamingos’ World Cup final against Japan. What a joy to see our girls defeat Japan 2–1 and become the first African team to lift the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup trophy.
Our young girls have conquered the world, made history and brought immense honour to Nigeria and the African continent.
I followed your remarkable journey throughout the tournament in Morocco, and I remember your promise after the semi-final victory to bring the trophy home. Today, you have kept that promise with courage, discipline and unwavering belief in yourselves.
Your triumph goes far beyond football. Millions of young Nigerian girls will look at what you have achieved and know that they, too, can dream big, compete with the best and reach the pinnacle of their chosen fields.
I congratulate every member of this exceptional team, the coaching crew, the Nigeria Football Federation, the National Sports Commission and everyone who contributed to this historic achievement.
On behalf of the government and people of Nigeria, I salute our world champions. You have written a glorious new chapter in our nation’s sporting history.
Nigeria celebrates you. I celebrate you.

This has been debunked.
Taiwo Oyedele just mentioned that NRS alone has collected N33 trillion and in course to collect N50 trillion.

No state in Nigeria is as comfortable and developed as Akwa Ibom State in terms of infrastructure
We just need to make it viable business wise.
Education is the way forward to change that. Because the mindset of the people in the state has to change first
The men need to become less traditional. The women need to become less religious centered.
The problem of Akwa Ibom is the mindset of the people
Extremism in religion is a curse to the state.
Extremism in tradition is a curse also
Fix those two things and you will have a large population ready for advancement

This is a homecoming for me. I was here in Akwa Ibom as a Mobil auditor. We built Ibeno, developed Eket, and did what we had to do. I never dreamed that I would become president to commission an airport named after my then-colleague governor (Victor Attah).

As part of our commitment to skilling up 5 million Nigerians by 2030, we have partnered with the Bank of Agriculture to establish the Renewed Hope Tertiary Agricultural and Entrepreneurship Programme, creating opportunities for practical skills development, entrepreneurship and employment.
Through this initiative, 20 tertiary institutions to start will be supported to transform underutilised institutional farmlands into commercial agricultural hubs, with over 500,000 hectares targeted for productive use.
Each participating institution will have access to between ₦1 billion and ₦2 billion in financing, alongside tractors, modern farm equipment, improved seedlings, irrigation facilities and technical support.
The programme will primarily benefit students, unemployed graduates and alumni, equipping them with practical agricultural and entrepreneurial skills, while also creating opportunities for staff and members of host communities to participate in commercial farming.
Beyond boosting food production, the initiative will connect classroom learning and research with practical enterprise, repositioning our tertiary institutions as centres of agricultural innovation, commercial production and job creation.
Ultimately, we are investing in people, building skills and creating pathways for young Nigerians to become entrepreneurs, employers and active contributors to national food security.
This is education translated into skills, skills translated into enterprise, and enterprise translated into opportunity.

President Tinubu is coming to Akwa Ibom, not for campaigns, but to commission projects that speak to real development.
Especially Ibom Deep Seaport Road passing through my LGA, Nsit Atai. This is progress we can see and celebrate!

When I first arrived in the United States as a young man, I drove a taxi to earn money for my education. I even had to postpone starting school for several months to save enough.
When I eventually got to Chicago, I worked different jobs to support myself and pay my way through university. I know what it means to worry about tuition, accommodation and how to make ends meet while pursuing an education.
Those experiences have stayed with me.
I know what education made possible in my own life, and I believe every Nigerian child deserves that same opportunity, regardless of where they are born or what their parents can afford.
This is one reason education remains a major priority of our Renewed Hope administration.
Through NELFUND, we have provided over ₦372 billion in student loans for institutional fees and upkeep, helping young Nigerians remain in school and pursue their education.
Our technical and vocational education programme has attracted over 2.8 million applications. We have rehabilitated 38 technical colleges, while students in federal and selected state technical colleges now benefit from free school fees, boarding, textbooks and uniforms.
We have reached a new agreement with ASUU, providing for a 40% increase in academic staff remuneration and measures to improve stability in our universities.
A four-year course must take four years. Our young people deserve to complete their education on time and get on with their lives. Promise made, Promise Kept
In medical education, we are investing ₦110 billion in rehabilitating 24 medical schools. Annual nursing enrolment has increased from 28,000 to 115,000, while medical and dental enrolment has risen from 5,000 to 12,000.
Nigeria needs more doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals, and we must build the capacity to train them here at home.
Over one million children who were previously out of school have been returned to learning. We are investing in teacher development, expanding educational opportunities for girls, and implementing a new national curriculum that restores Nigerian History to our classrooms.
Our children must know where we have come from, understand the country they belong to, and be prepared to take responsibility for its future.
I commend the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa @DrTunjiAlausa, the Minister of State, Professor Suwaiba Sa’id Ahmad @Suwaiba_Said, and the entire education team @NigEducation for their dedication to this important work.
I am particularly pleased that the team has developed an interactive A–Z of the Nigeria Education Sector Renewal Initiative (NESRI), bringing together the reforms, programmes, achievements and opportunities across our education system.
I invite every Nigerian to visit edu4pbat.ng and explore the A–Z of NESRI.
If you are a parent, find out what opportunities are available for your children. If you are a student, explore the programmes you can benefit from. If you are a teacher, see what support is available.
And if something is not working as it should in your community, I want to hear about it. Your feedback will help us identify problems and address them.
Our journey from reform to opportunities and shared prosperity must begin with education.
The circumstances of a child’s birth should never determine the limits of their ambition. Our responsibility is to give every Nigerian child a fair chance to fulfil their potential.
We have more work to do, and I am determined to see it through.

When the guy in the white Shirt mentioned CCMAS, the lady was looking at him like a lost sheep. A typical angry mob without knowledge.
These are Nigerian students who do not know about the most impactful curriculum intervention implemented in September 2023. CCMAS allows Universities to create future-forward courses to meet the changing global market using a 70:30 rule.
During my time in the University of Ilorin, if you wanted to study Computer Science and you miss out on it, you end up with Statistics or Mathematics. You would have to graduate with Statistics or drop out. But now within that same computing discipline, you can have B.Sc Computer science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, etc as shown in the attached. All the programs have the same 70% baseline courses.
It's the same with Mass Comm, miss out on Mass comm and you land in Linguistics but now you can have your B.Sc in Advertising, Broadcasting, Public Relations, Strategic Communications etc.
In Architecture for example, you can have B.Sc Interior Design Architecture or Landscaping Architecture etc.
17 Disciplines were expanded to 238. The lady doesn't even know. Why are these people so empty?

On japa syndrome,
Like a lecturer, she also brilliantly informed her “students” on the show that those who do not believe in the country can as well migrate but some young ones with commitment will always remain there to help rebuild it.
It’s how she turned the whole show into a lecture room, for me.

The tragedy of Peter Obi's involvement in our politics is that it makes even the 'brightest' of his supporters dumb. This is a doctoral researcher, yet he is reasoning like an illiterate.
Should we apply the same logic to the Agulu fraud? Why is he not living in Anambra? Why are his supporters not living in Anambra if he has turned the state into an El Dorado?
UtiNature retweeted
You have conscience and I have conscience, I as indigene of Anambra state, voted first in the 2nd term of Shagari, you see, I'm an adult when Peter took over from Ngige, his performance was lackluster which made Ikemba to reject him going for the 2nd term until he knelt and cried.
Defending Peter Obi’s legacy is one of the few battles a man can fight with a clear conscience and immense pride.
The APC may manufacture a thousand lies, unleash a thousand propaganda campaigns and attempt a thousand times to smear his name, but facts have an inconvenient habit of refusing to disappear.
Every accusation has an answer, every distortion has a record, and every attempt to diminish Peter Obi's legacy only creates another opportunity to expose the truth of how good he is.
