VAST Learning

The VAST SIMposium got off to a strong start with great enthusiasm from the 60 participants. The day included a 'getting-to-know-you' exercise where people switched chairs to meet their colleagues, introduction to the VAST FORM, and practicing running and debriefing scenarios.

VAST Well-being includes many interactive group discussions and presentations on Personal and organizational factors Behavioural and organizational change strategies.

Clearly this is a group of people who care a lot about their patients and their colleagues. Better provider well-being = better care and capacity for compassion “I learned to love myself” “How can you be kind to others and yet be so aggressive to yourself?”
