It’s weird that the Prosecutor chose to literally belittle a victim of sexual assault for political reasons instead of just saying “this is pending litigation, no comment.”
Shannon Taylor only cares about power. Not protecting us.

30+ arrests.
90+ felonies and misdemeanors.
But thanks to Virginia Democrats, he could be roaming the streets where your children play.
Virginia Democrats are sending voting rights restoration letters addressed to the “street names” of people who have been dead for 22 years.
In the same breath, they turn around and tell you that mass restoration of rights is a good idea and we don’t need any election security laws.
Democrats are simply not serious about protecting the integrity of the ballot box.

Your electric bill has gone up a lot since Gov. Spanberger took office.
Democrats have promised to lower energy costs and make data centers pay their fair share. But when the time came to vote, they canceled the session.
Talk is cheap. Your power bill isn’t. Virginia families need action. Bring us back and let's vote!
Every single one of these “foundational issues” is a direct result of Democrat policies.
RGGI & VCEA made the grid less reliable and more expensive.
And Democrats “fix” is a Green New Scam that will cost $127 BILLION.
The solution is simple: stop the ridiculous mandates, prioritize cheap and reliable energy, and reduce costs for families.
“Jay Jones Inflames Tension—Fabricating Federal Election Interference.”
Virginia’s Democrat Attorney General is using false claims of federal election interference to boost his own profile in a selfish, cynical ploy.
Meanwhile, the real threat to our elections comes from Democrats’ assault on election integrity.

REMINDER: Democrats are LYING to you on their radical constitutional amendments.
They know that if they told voters the truth, their amendments would never pass.
They lied on their gerrymandering power grab, and they’re lying now.
This practice will be supercharged under Democrats’ radical Question 1 amendment.
Question 1 is an all-out assault on parental rights dressed up as a pro-abortion amendment.
Just one more way Virginia Democrats are making being a homeowner less affordable.
Working families are about to be slammed with massive power bill increases as a result of Democrats’ carbon taxes.
Abigail Spanberger & Virginia Democrats do not have the decency to look victims in the eye and tell them that they are releasing their attackers.
Instead, they hide behind their radical left parole board that is flooding our streets with violent criminals.
Abigail Spanberger’s energy “plan” proves that Virginia Democrats are totally unserious about lowering costs.
Spanberger wants to force families to pay $127 BILLION more because she refuses to repeal RGGI & VCEA.
This is a direct carbon tax on families, plain and simple.
Democrats are affordability frauds.
The fuel excise tax in Virginia is 32.6 cents per gallon.
Virginia Republicans have consistently and repeatedly called for a gas tax holiday to immediately deliver relief at the pump.
Democrats said NO.
The next time you fill up, just remember that you could be paying 32.6 cents less per gallon, but Democrats are demanding their pound of flesh.
If the Governor actually wants to lower energy bills, she should remove Virginia from RGGI and tell her party to repeal VCEA.
The Commonwealth ran a $936M surplus in 2026. But Spanberger wants you to thank her for $67 million for “home energy efficiency.”
Just give that money back to taxpayers in CASH and lower energy costs by repealing expensive mandates!
Spanberger announces $67 million for home energy efficiency projects, lowering energy bills

Virginians are worried about the rising cost of living, and that includes taxes right here in the Commonwealth. If affordability is the priority, the tax policies coming out of Richmond deserve just as much scrutiny. Thank you to the @vahousegop and the @VASenateGOP for voting against these tax increases.
Replying to @HelenSharpe98
You people are ridiculous. VA voters are not concerned about styrofoam being banned in this crappy economy with incompetent leadership coming from the federal government. No wonder the VA GOP has been losing for years.
This is exactly what is wrong with blanket restoration of rights.
Previous administrations understood the constitutional weight of reviewing each case individually. The claim that the Governor or the Secretary of the Commonwealth conducted any real due diligence is laughable.
Restoring the voting rights of deceased Virginians should never happen, even by accident. This is a textbook failure of Democratic policy, and it undermines the integrity of our elections.
Instead of doing the work to lower the cost of living, this administration now has to determine whether it handed voting rights to the dead, and whether any of those people cast a ballot. That is a serious error by the Governor.
New: At an event in Henrico this morning, I pressed Governor Abigail Spanberger (@GovernorVA) on social media posts alleging that Spanberger restored dead people's voting rights as part of a process that allows the Governor to restore the rights of convicted felons upon their release.
Spanberger said, "We're certainly looking into that possibility and recognizing that there has been a focus on a number of cases where that appears to be the case. We are digging into it."
Virginia Democrats spent the entire legislative session pursuing an illegal gerrymandering power grab and passing new taxes.
Then, they were 100 days late on a budget that delivered ZERO relief for working families.
Virginia Republicans have multiple proposals on the table to deliver on affordability - including lowering power bills and passing a gas tax holiday.
If Democrats refuse AGAIN to consider this legislation, it would be another massive slap in the face to hard-working Virginians.
The rumor is that the Governor and Democrats are calling us back into special session this month. If they do, there need to be bills on the table to suspend the gas tax and bring down residential power bills.
So far it's been a lot of talk. Now rank-and-file Democrats have a chance to demand that the Governor and their own leadership actually pass something to lower costs for Virginians.
We'll see if they do.
