High school standouts from @LkwdAthletics and @BayAthletics on this team in Tommy Sala and RJ Sunahara. Pretty cool local connection to this team that has grown into a D2 powerhouse.
⚠️ SHARK-INFESTED WATERS ⚠️
@NSU_MBasketball finishes the season perfect at 36-0 to claim the program's first #D2MBB title.

Good (late) morning!
Perhaps you’ve also noticed, but today is Friday. That means football. Week 5. Throwing, running, tackling, blocking, kicking, all the vocabulary.
Per usual, @WestLifeSports1 is going to be out and about covering games.
Checks notes…
My last sporting event was a key GLC volleyball match between undefeateds in @rrhsvball and @DemonAthletics. The Demons won 3-2, and it was a tremendous match that involved some wild momentum swings. Here’s some photos from that:
TOUCHDOWN @LkwdAthletics. On 4th and 1 from the @FPWarriorSports 1, Josh Bohurjak bulls his way into the end zone. Rangers lead Warriors 28-7, 7:09 left in regulation.
TOUCHDOWN @LkwdAthletics: on 4th and 12 from the @FPWarriorSports 22, Symons connects with Jaylen Chapell, who catches it around the 5 and runs into the end zone past a defender. Rangers lead 21-7, 6:32 left in the 3rd quarter. Big night for Symons.
We’re about 3-4 minutes from the start of the 2nd half here in Fairview. @LkwdAthletics 14, @FPWarriorSports 7.
Of note: Ranger QB Alex Symons has passed for 89 yards and a score while also rushing for 42 yards and a score.
Eddie Gillick has all 89 receiving yards on 2 catches.
TOUCHDOWN @LkwdAthletics. Alex Symons with a 6-yard run. Rangers now lead @FPWarriorSports 14-7, 5:02 left in the 1st half.
The Rangers answer immediately. Alex Symons throws short to Eddie Gillick, who gets a great block and burns it down the visitors sideline for a 61-yard TOUCHDOWN. @LkwdAthletics 7, @FPWarriorSports 7, 2:50 to go in the 1st quarter.
The @FPWarriorSports open the game with a punishing 16-play drive, and Nate Glanc punches in a 1-yard TOUCHDOWN on 4th and 1. Warriors 7, @LkwdAthletics 0, 3:05 left in the 1st quarter.
Now we football. @FPWarriorSports will receive the opening kick from @LkwdAthletics.
Warriors shall begin the night’s opening drive from their 27
Week 3 football is coming…
@WestLifeSports1 is busy again. We’ll have updates from the following:
@Jack_Kopanski is in @avoneagles for their game against Glenville
@DiFranco_Rob is at @OFalls_Bulldogs as @OFfootball1 takes on Norwalk
I’m in Fairview to watch @FPWarriorSports host @LkwdAthletics in a @GreatLakesConf crossover contest. East Division meets West.
Both teams are 1-1
As a general rule, Friday night football remains undefeated.
