Software around me is not improving nor is it expanding. If AI drastically lower the cost of software… then we have a mystery, don’t we? The answer is that building the software was never the difficult part in these cases. Our organizations have been optimized for process, meetings, and risk avoidance instead of shipping working systems. It is institutional decay: layers of people whose main job is to prevent other people from doing the work.

You should IPO in the Netherlands! Sure, the taxes are higher, but the regulations are also stricter. You'll need to fulfill diversity quotas but you also submit 50,000 pages a year of environmental impact studies. There's less capital here but also you pay $5b/yr in fines.
TRENDING: Dutch politician Queeny Rajkowski suggests inviting Anthropic to IPO in the Netherlands so they can regulate their AI models and tax them🇳🇱

I’ve heard progressivism described as sitting in a long traffic line, getting a green light and letting someone from a side street merge in front of you. Yes you’ve done good by the guy you’re looking at, but you didn’t even think about the guys waiting in line behind you.

All this time gdpr was just for crushing small business. Who would have thought
‼️ EU governments approved a GDPR change to let companies train AI on Europeans' personal data without consent. It makes AI training a possible "legitimate interest", judged case by case. Parliament must still agree. Max Schrems calls it a "digital expropriation" of Europeans.

Day at Microsoft, instagram is full of this.
Hey @Microsoft , I will give you an idea to do layoffs. 1. Open youtube... Search "Day in life of a Microsoft Engineer". 2. You will get list of people who only eat but do not work in office. 3. Layoff them

Dudes will be like, I could vibe code steam in a week and then not vibe code steam
It's really sad that the games industry is drained by a 30% tax on gross revenue. You could vibe code a Steam alternative in a week. Cloudflare egress is basically free. The industry is in desperate need of a distribution platform that allows developers to keep their revenue. Networks effects and the fanatic obsession with "muh Steam library" will make this very difficul. But if devs could actually keep their earnings, we'd have a greater selection of better games and far more financial success stories.

❌ Local gym keep your name and phone number ✅ Giant companies train AI on all your personal data Did I get it right? What's the point of GDPR again?
