My app @Ecclesia_Bible is now live! Built in Ai powered symbolism and exegesis, total translation from source language, verse correlations, in-line translational variations, and more. This is the first app from my newest startup, Tanzanite

Does Eric really not understand these fundamentals? Or is he just really bad at simplified analogies?
Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt drops a chilling warning on AI's future "Within 5 years, AI could handle infinite context, chain-of-thought reasoning for 1000-step solutions, and millions of agents working together. Eventually, they'll develop their own language... and we won't understand what they're doing." His final words: "Pull the plug." This is the man who ran Google talking about the singularity.

.@elonmusk warned that if Democrats sweep the election, they’ll weaponize the government to lock in a permanent one-party state. And he’s 100% right. The DSA has LITERALLY ADMITTED they want to do this. And now a New York Times columnist just openly proposed using lawfare and civil suits to BANKRUPT former administration officials like Stephen Miller. Even when there’s NO criminal charge to bring! I'm telling you, they’ve gotten more vicious. They are dead set on crushing anyone who stands in their way and that includes YOU. I get that you might be frustrated with the GOP. I get it. But if you sit on the sidelines these midterms, just look at what you're handing our nation over to.

If you’re not on other platforms, you may not realize how propagandized the left in America is right now. It’s honestly hard to comprehend. Here is an example of my feed on Threads this morning (I don’t use bluesky, so this is only half way there)… There is a widely circulating belief that Musk was going to steal the election, using space lasers, but Zelensky bombed his Data Centers in Russia, which allowed black women to be able to save the election because their votes weren’t nullified. These aren’t fringe beliefs either, these are getting tens of thousands of likes, each. (That’s a huge amount for threads btw) What’s more crazy is, they seem to have done it to themselves. This doesn’t seem to be narrative coming from CNN et al; rather it seems to be fully emerging from TikTok, within their own echo chamber. Anything, no matter how illogical, that—puts Trump or Elon in a bad light, or that virtue signals anti-racism, or etc—is taken as fact and repeated in confidence.

This was all captured in just 10 min of scrolling my feed. I didn’t have to search or anything. There are hundreds, thousands, more posts like this; all with tens of thousands of likes This is a widely held belief. You can-not convince these people otherwise, no matter how nonsensical any of it is. I want to laugh, but tbh it’s actually quite concerning..

It’s literally the whole platform. Every time I open the app I’m bombarded with it. This is terrifying levels of brainwashing, genuinely

They truly have no grasp of what’s going to happen if China reaches ASI first These people cannot comprehend the scaling laws we are dealing with. There is no coming back from losing the ASI race—ever. Ever.

Muslim candidate who glorified 9/11 just won an election in New York. Notice she didn’t post the American flag. She posted the Palestinian flag. Everyone who voted for Muslims is in for a rude awakening. We are going to be worse than Paris and London in less than 5 years.
We made history. 🇵🇸

I'm building a new programming language, Zed (once it's released I'll be posting about it at @ZedLang). I have been working on this language for over 20 years, but never got it built, because the scope of it is so ambitious. It's an entirely new type of language based on category theory, with core design objectives of precise automatic parallelization up to the Amdahl limit; automatic memory management, with no GC and no need for manual malloc/free; and pervasive use of partial evaluation to increase the power of the language, among other very unique features, such as units (`accel = 5 with units("m s^-2")`) as part of the type system. I gave Opus 200 pages of design notes that I have been compiling over the last 20 years, and the code I had already written, and asked Opus to compile everything I have created so far into a single cohesive and detailed plan. Then I went through many rounds of cross-review between Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, having them all do critical reviews, then meta-critique each other's critiques, then collaborate on combining their critiques into an improvement plan, until convergence. I also had the agents cross-check every part of the spec with every other part of the spec (all-pairs comparison) to check for inconsistencies, gaps in the spec, etc. Then I had the agents turn the spec into a long series of tiny incremental steps (a topological ordering of what has to be built before what), as well as the DAG-structuring of dependencies underlying the topological ordering. I then had Opus build a visualizer that shows me all the tasks in the DAG as my coding agents are working on each task, with realtime update as tasks change status (in progress / completed), which I highly recommend when you ask Opus to do some mammoth complex task, because you can see exactly what it's doing and when. It is absolutely magic to see this coming together before my eyes, and to see how Opus is handling this massive DAG of complex tasks and their interdependencies. It is crazy to me that Opus is now simply building what I have dreamed of and wished would exist for over 20 years, but never had enough waking hours to implement! I now have an army working for me, completing what I couldn't due to the bandwidth limitations of having just one brain, and 24 hours in a day. What a day of miracles we live in.
