Not sure why paint presence is considered the weak spot for the Lobos. They blitz high, force bigs up to help and then do the same.

Final from Little Elm, TX 📍
North Crowley 69
Little Elm 67
Public School vs Public School. One team with a student section, one team who’s crowd made the trip across town on a week night! 🤝 Pure Hoops between 2 of the top teams in Texas. ‼️
Back and forth 4th quarter in a HEAVYWEIGHT match-up. Credit North Crowley for meeting the challenge and dismissing adversity. A huge 4th quarter run to win it on literally the last millisecond (if that’s a real thing) by Tre Hall! 😳😳
My Thoughts 🧠⬇️
🏀Isaak Hayes. Growth & maturity was what I witnessed. Could tell He wanted to press early on, but he didn’t. He waited for his opportunities and effected the game with an efficient shot volume.. THEN he ABSOLUTELY ERUPTED in the 4th for one of THOSE SPECIAL PERFORMANCES & MOMENTS! GRIT. DETERMINATION. LEADER. 😤
🏀Kensington Candler is The Engine. The Alpha. Such a gifted scorer and playmaker. Little elm has a guy vs your guy no matter the game. His teammates trust him to be the GUY! He’ll always give you a chance. He’s a STAR ⭐️
🏀Tre Hall gives North Crowley state championship upside when he’s ON. I trust him more than ever to be productive and ON when it matters. BUZZER BEATER TRE OMG! WOW’d ME!
🏀Josh Weems The Attitude. The Pulse. Their approach is directly related with how Josh Weems approaches the game. That middy work in the second half was DISGUSTING 🔥
🏀Ian Berry - Any team who wants to make a run needs an Ian Berry. An Ian Berry who’s knocking down 3’s at a high clip is a formula for a lot of wins.
🏀Kam Price is a DOG. I’ll call him when it’s war time. Physical!
🏀Jonathan Fox is a High Level Utility for thisteam. Willingness to do what it takes. Need players like him if you want to get to SA.
🏀DJ Vasher - My Next Gen addition (2028) Ran at the smoke, not from it in key moments.
18-16 North Crowley after 1Q
33-33 Halftime
55-50 Little Elm after 3Q
59-57 North Crowley wins
#GASO
