While some school principal still said No to multilingual education, the amazing principal and her staff of Burwood High School are super supportive! Kids are enjoying their after-school lessons at BGH. Come and learn Vietnamese with us after school! facebook.com/people/VietScho…
Another great experience of high-level interpreting - Vietnam's Prime Minister delegation visiting Melbourne welcomed by Victoria Premier, Assistant Minister of Trade and Manufacturing and RMIT Vice Chancellor.
As VietSchool president, I joined this great meeting organised by Macquarie Uni's Faculty of Arts for Community Language Schools to speak of their challenges. Looking forward to collaboration and engagement from the university to promote home language education in Australia.
I was invited to talk in the community panel of 2024 Ethnolink Summit on "Making multicultural communication mainstream" (summit.ethnolink.com.au/). What a great occasion for everyone to learn and share information regarding working with multilingual communities in Australia.

There’s no handbook on how to raise bilingual kids, especially in English-dominant countries like Australia. But there are lots of myths and misbeliefs to navigate. sbs.com.au/language/english/…
