Then you are making the case that vitamin D production, rather than vitamin D levels are what counts for infections. The seasonal cycle is modest; we store a lot in our fat deposits.
That we need an explanation could also be jumping to conclusions. tylervigen.com/spurious-corr…

Politics should be about the issues & solution, not about the horse race, but I really like quantification. Trump's approval is now below 40%.
I wonder how much disapproval is from the terrorists that invaded Congress & are now told by Trump they are not true Trump supporters.
I was so cynical about American politics that I had not expected this. projects.fivethirtyeight.com…
The power of Big Lie Trump media is not absolute.
Recent polls are even lower, so the mean may still have some catching up to do. Interestingly, the Rasmussen polls shows no change.

1) Viruses grow exponentially, like money. Even if you double hospital capacity, it would only help you one doubling time more. At the current California rate it would help 3 weeks longer.
The 10 months should have been spend on stronger mitigation. There is no way around it.

I never realized the right-wing feels they deserve a better treatment (because they are good 🤡) enforced by getting it. We need a complete renewal of policing.
