We don’t cheer against movies. Any movies. We know fans will do their thing for their heroes, but for us, when Ramayana crosses over it makes new fans of Indian Cinema. And then those fans get to dive into an incredible world of films. That’s what we cheer, and work, for!
It is week 239 of RRR in theaters, and last night the Hollywood Theatre in Portland, OR had its 49th sold out showing of the film.

The Cinema Arts Centre, its audience, its members, and its donors deserve better than a board who would act in such a way.
In the 15 years we've known him, Dylan Sklonick has worked tirelessly on behalf of the CAC. He answers emails at 11pm, he organizes events for the NYC community on behalf of the theater, and he programs the CAC with care and a true love of the theater and its audience.
In light of that, Variance titles will not be playing at Cinema Arts Centre until Skolnick is reinstated in full with a public apology.

This is not only common, it's something that the reporting states he had full permission from the previous board to do. He didn't do it in secret - the theaters are in his email signature.
This reads like executive board shenanigans to us...
The Cinema Arts Centre made a public allegation of "serious misconduct" against co-director Dylan Skolnick a few weeks back.
Because that's worded so ominously, we're amplifying reporting from @Newsday that confirms this all is over him handling bookings for other theaters...
