If you live in Canada, and are not a US citizen, please repeat after me:
“I’m not a US citizen.
I need to pay more attention to the affairs of my own country, and our politics, rather than obsessing over America’s.
I cannot vote in US elections, therefore I should not act irrationally or base my entire personality over the outcome of those elections.
I cannot blame a foreign president or political party for all the shortcomings and problems our nation is struggling with.”

Now that the AMERICAN elections are done, can the Prime Minister of CANADA and CANADIAN legacy media please return to paying attention to CANADA?

I’m delighted to share that “Here For Canada: Memoirs of the 22nd Prime Minister” is now officially released. It was an honour to serve our country, the best country in the world, with an incredible team of colleagues and I am pleased to share my account of those years.

👉 Currently 5-0 in my Fantasy Hockey league but always looking to improve. Pulled off a big trade to unite Draisaitl & McDavid on my team. Thoughts on the trade and my new roster? 👍

A reporter asked Pierre what he would do to maintain Canadian leverage in foreign policy, citing Palestine and the United States as examples.
Pierre gave clear statements on both.
In regard to Palestine, he was clear: not a single Canadian penny should be going to a terrorism-sponsoring dictatorship while Canadians are struggling to pay their bills.
In regard to America, Pierre made another really important point: the Americans are so desperate for energy that they just signed a deal with Russia. Why isn't Canada flooding the global market with our energy? Because after a year and a half of big promises on major infrastructure from Mark Carney, NOTHING has been built. ZERO shovels are in the ground.
Do you think Pierre was spot-on here on both these points? 👍
