"Do you really want a monotonous world...
Where nothing ever changes?"

"Well then you'll have to dissociate more carefully then," she said calmly, finishing with wrapping the younger person's finger.
"There, that should be alright. Come back in a day or two so I can change the bandage."

"Hm, what do you invent then?" she asked, finding a seat to lean back in, her arms crossing loosely. She did seem quite interested.

" 'My Little Pony'?" she echoed. Not her first choice, of course but... well, whichever.
"Well, make sure to keep you head focused on your task, especially if you are working with sharp objects."
Medusa is good at pretending but when she doesn't bother, that's when the awkwardness comes out. She keeps her gaze away from her child, her expression neutral, closed off as she listens.
"Good," she nods, "Keep doing that then, it will be good for you."
"Different powers meet is strange ways, so I doubt you're rusty, I'm just...different," she smiled, for she was a witch from a world that had gone insane and death was never only the end.

"Everyone wonders why twisting my hair the other way led to the 'heroes' not recognizing me. Well, there is magic in hair twisting, so they only saw what I let them see."
"Some people... don't deserve to be parents," she said, and she was being a hypocrite here, but who cared? Right now she had a child that looked like her own crying in her arms and this time... this time...
"Come, Marlowe, come with me," she said, "We'll get something warm to
So not after Marlowe but had... abandoned her? Moved on? Well, if this woman was anything like Medusa she could understand the reasoning.
If the 'experiment' had been a failure, then you discard it and try another. Still, she never would never discard Crona, and Marlowe, who
