Thirty-five years ago this month, Sheffield Wednesday beat Manchester United 3-2 with 38,260 packed into Hillsborough. It was the sort of afternoon that made the early 1990s such a special time to be a Wednesday fan. The story of that season is told in '91.

Noel Gallagherβs High Flying Birds went straight to number one with their debut album in October 2011, then played their first live show in Dublin. This Is History follows the Oasis story into Noelβs solo years too, with memorabilia from across that wider journey. Out 30 October.

Before everything was streamed, music travelled on things like these.
These tapes are a little snapshot of the world around Oasis, and the sort of detail that makes the story so much more than the records themselves.

Oasisβs deal with Creation in October 1993 marked a turning point. This facsimile of Noel Gallagherβs separate publishing contract with Creation Songs, dated April 1994, features in *This Is History*, out 30 October. Alan McGeeβs copy sold for Β£230 at Omega Auctions in 2023.
