Really interesting stats at the @NFUStweets conference from @Bovidiva.
Giving up one long haul flight has a bigger environmental impact than giving up red meat. I know which I’d choose.
(Also giving up your family pet has more impact than going vegan 😱 Neither happening!)

We are seeing an increase in GPS Domes being stolen from tractors which includes the Nantwich area.
Please be vigilant in your surroundings. Make it hard for thieves to steal from you.
It's not just the value, but the knock on effect to your business.

Hope everyone out there is remembering to cold-hose any sick/downer cows & give downer cows plenty of shade. The last thing a sick cow needs is heat stress.

This memorial stone dates back to an outbreak of cattle plague/Rinderpest in 1866. A reminder of another crisis caused by a viral disease, now eradicated thanks to scientists & communities working together
All storms pass, what will be remembered is how we responded at the time

A recent article in @FarmersGuardian focusing on one of my young entrant clients who have recently taken over running the dairy enterprise of the family farm. We have been focusing on the cattle comfort and housing environment and it has been worthwhile @promarinternat1
