FFXIV SUMMONER BUILD THREAD; LET'S GO!
It's taken me *years* to earn that book, and now that I have... I feel I'm finally worthy of creating it. Perhaps it will become my magnum opus of SMN book props.

Every year, I get the COVID and flu shots, and every year, they kick my ass. This is the first year I'm able to see exactly how they affect my biometrics.

This fight honestly dumpstered my self-esteem in ways I can't really explain (and I've been raiding since 1.0), but I'm glad my group finally made it through (plus a very helpful friend).

Link's new OoT outfit is nothing short of an absolute GIFT to cosplayers. It seriously looks SO FUN to make. All the plant/natural fabric elements...
It feels weird to feel so out of place with the FFXIV raiding community nowadays. I really don't feel like I belong anymore, and finding people with a similar mentality going into Evercold is not going to be easy if possible at all.
I went to eat a KitKat, and... there was literally no wafer inside. I have never had this happen to me. I'm 38 years old. I don't know what reality is anymore because now I know what a KitKat tastes like without a wafer.

I have mixed feelings about posting something "controversial." On the one hand, I know I now have the self-control to not engage rage baiters. On the other hand, I am creating an environment where *other* people might fall prey to it. Life is too short. Don't waste your energy!
I try to appreciate a creator's vision when absorbing any piece of media. As long as I can understand what they're going for, I'll enjoy it regardless of how well it might have been executed. You may disagree, but I loved Wuk Lamat. She offered us unique situations/perspectives.
Being a Legacy player and seeing how much the "raiding community" has changed over the last 16 years has been just downright depressing for me. Seriously. My fondest memories are from my ARR/HW/Stormblood statics. We didn't know it at the time, but those were the good old days.
