A trait I look out for in my closest friends is tenderness in speech. Anyone can have a smart mouth but not everyone can speak truth in love or acknowledge their own hurt without going on the offensive.
It is a deliberate choice for me to be surrounded by the tender tongued.

Love is ethical, before it is emotional. I think about this statement a lot. It is your responsibility that you make sure you do not exploit those who love you. Love is a powerful force, and if in good conscience you value those who love you, you will protect them from themselves

My love be costing a thing and it’s your damn devotion. Friend or lover, if you match my devotion ie; cannot carry me like I carry you, you have absolutely nothing to do around me tbh

I was so wrong though.
Nigerian men don't love children to that extent. They just can't believe you can have total control like that over your own life and body. They want to control that too. They want to be in charge of whether you can have kids or not, well, all the best o 😂
