Utes Fans! The @BenneeJackson sack/forced fumble and Jireh Moe recovery is now the largest #UteQuake ever recorded in @Rice_Eccles! What a night it was for @Utah_Football. Let's beat it on Nov. 7th! @UUtah @TheMUSS @utahathletics @PresidentUofU
The whole country is going in on Pat and taking Utahs side and BYU fans are dancing cheering thinking they won. You played yourself. Cougar fans, come get your boy. He’s making you look bad.
If anyone could give lessons on taking L’s it would be a BYU fan. You don’t even have to argue with them because they eventually just do it to themselves…
Ute fans suck at taking the L. If you made a guy feel unwanted on your campus, take the L. Apologize. Be the bigger man.
Or, tell him to suck it up, rub some dirt on it and get back in the game.
At the end of the day, dude still has a microphone that’s much bigger than yours and he’s got the university on blast. 🤷♂️
BYU fans stand with Pat McAfee. We tried to warn you guys. Now you all see it. There are some good ones though. Don’t judge them all based on dork engagement farming hacks like this one.

One of the funniest things about this McAfee stuff is it went viral because a byu fan shared it as a Utah “gotcha,” thinking it’d make Utah look bad. But the whole country outside Utah County is flaming McAfee for it 😂. His beloved Cougs sent him viral for the wrong reason.
Will gets it. He also picked Utah over Houston. Tell Pate maybe he should put more than 20 seconds into his prediction for that game… 😏

Not a Pat hater nor am I a part of his target demo.... but this stuff right here is soft as baby shit!!
Dude is an entertainer... One who has leaned into WWE style coverage and being a "polarizing figure." And is this sensitive? Over a couple of teenagers doing sidewalk interviews?? What?

I have had thoughts on this matter ever since Pat McAfee said he hopes to never see the Utes again. I waited to see if Pat would revisit and clarify on the slighted comment with some context.
First off: I can’t believe this is actually a real thing… not from PAT MCAFEE.
To make a public statement over these two items, and act as some sort of victim, reshapes my whole view on a guy who I previously thought was entertaining, refreshing, and great for Saturday mornings.
The student never called Pat “creepy.” That word was never used, but perhaps Pat is projecting his own insecurity here—who knows?
The word “corny” offended this guy?
Sheesh, anyone else a little disappointed how thin-skinned this man is acting right now?
I’m a father of two boys under three years old, and “corny” is not only a compliment, but a rite of passage.
I stand with the University of Utah, who posted a harmless video (in the follow-up comment) that simply should have given the trash-talking “icon” a way to jaw back. There was nothing from that clip of student thoughts that was in poor taste or crossed a line.
As for the “only $1 million” comment, I’ll give him that… it was a tough look and made me cringe. This seemed to be the part he was least insulted by, though…
And what really bothered me was he pointed to the assassination of Charlie Kirk as leverage to justify his hurt feelings and liken the words “corny” and “creepy”—again “creepy” was never said—to state that he felt uncomfortable? That’s pretty gross, in my opinion. Tragedies happen everywhere, unfortunately.
This should have never been a story, talking point, or whatever… but my guess is the word “creepy” got to him. And what’s funny, is the word was never even used.
Look inward, Pat. You need to have thicker skin. There’s no way you’ve grown to the level you’re at and avoided being called worse than “corny” or told to keep your shirt on—I’ve been called way worse in my short time as a media personality in this small pocket of the world.
You’ll be aight, Pat.
I promise, the last thing I want to do is drag this out and turn it into something stupid for him or the University of Utah but this is it. This made you fear for your life? Gotta call it out when I see it. I’m totally fine with you getting “cOvId” for the next gameday in Utah…

I've been a live event host for 14 years.
I've been to 6 WrestleManias.
I was the in-stadium host for the @Utah_Football game at @Rice_Eccles last night and I can definitely say that this crowd - specificallty, @TheMUSS - was the single loudest crowd I've ever heard in my life.
