This is sad to see but I do understand from Roedl’s perspective why the Big 5 is no longer financially viable. Missing out on ticket sales means a lot in this day and age. It also doesn’t help that the students at the other schools don’t care at all about hoops.
The current format of Big 5 men's basketball will end after this year, and the immediate future has the 5 non-Villanova schools playing round-robin without the Wildcats.
Villanova didn't want to keep this format, and another could not be agreed on.

He averaged 8.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1 block with Mega Superbet of the Adriatic league.
Suigo will look to be a lottery pick in the 2027 NBA draft
This is a MASSIVE addition as Luigi is highly regarded as one of the best european big man prospects.
He was also aggressively pursued by BYU
