I'm happy we get to see more deadlock tournaments, but 1win is not it. Not only have they done some shady copystriking in the past, they're literally a casino and the event is only watchable on their website.
They will send a copystrike to your channel if you watch the tournament in-game, even though they have 0 rights to the content in-game as it is owned by Valve, at least AFAIK - I'm not a lawyer.
They'll block the MatchID. They force you to watch it on their website. All so they can promote 1win and their gambling. I understand that this is really the only tournament with significant money in Deadlock, but it's just them trying to normalize gambling.
You can literally already place bets on Deadlock games on their website.
I don't fault the players or even the staff for working on the event, I understand people want to participate in Deadlock tournaments and there are not a lot of options. But I do think we should be careful as a community of normalizing gambling.

The vibecoded "bl4-fix" mod that adds a Minimap to Borderlands 4 amongst other things is worse than we originally thought.
- Mod directly alters firewall rules, a potential danger if Malware is ever snuck in. Untrusted input from the dev can execute arbitrary code if decided on
- More parts of the mod have been discovered to be completely stolen from other modders
- The mod author is now hiding Claude as a contributor on the Github repo
- As expected, and most likely due to it using an unsigned exe, it's being flagged as unsafe by numerous AVs. Could be false flags, could also not be
Folks, please avoid running Vibecoded mods. If you ARE going to install mods made using AI Assistance, please make sure the author knew what they were doing, and have a solid reputation in the modding community.

Exactly this. Valve has held gaming back for years by locking developers’ PC games into Steamworks’ social walled garden where players can’t talk to other players on iOS, Android, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, or even other PC stores.
