After I shared my 2017 shots of the Pixies, I had some of you asking if I had more stuff I took of them. Thought I'd share what I shot of them in 2019 when they shared a bill with Weezer.
This is one of my favorites I took of Black Francis. Love the contrast and emotion of it.
I've got some more shots of the show. If you're a fan of the Pixies and you'd like to see them all, I'll be sending them out through my email newsletter in the next day. If you want to check them out, feel free to sign up on my site at: pauljendrasiakphotography.co…

Perry Farrell 1989

Shooting Perry Farrell for Exposure Magazine on September 16, 1989, was an experience I'll never forget. It was our first collaboration, and the energy in the room was palpable. Perry, with his unique style and charisma, was open to my creative direction. We did two distinct portrait setups, but it was the shots of Perry lounging in bed that became iconic. There was something so raw and genuine about those images; they captured Perry in a candid, introspective moment. The entire session felt seamless, with Perry and I vibing off each other's creativity. Looking back, it's moments like these that remind me of the magic that can happen when artist and photographer are in sync. #perryfarrel
