Organizing @droidconIN was a big commitment. Our main goal was "We are not in it to make a profit. Let's try and raise as much as we can to cover the event cost". It was a wonder we ended up with a surplus which can be used for #droidconIN2021
We organized @droidconIN last year and were able to make a profit on our first event ever. Here's how the sponsorship bit of the event looks like.

I remember spending sleepless nights thinking about the loss we would suffer - up until a week before the event when we signed our last sponsor.
Countless calls with @AdnanM0123 and @subhankar_rj but never once we thought about compromising our values - we wanted sponsors who would fit with the audience and would provide value to them.
I often say to my daughter what she is going to do anyway just so it looks like she is hearing and obeying me 😅 #ParentLife
And now people are going to ask, "Do you have something similar to Home Screen Widgets on Android?" 🤦♂️

Today, on one of the projects I'm working on (which is still 100% Java), I saw "consider rewriting apps with #Flutter" as one of possible future works. Where is this world heading?! #AndroidDev
